We have joined the Fairview Gardens "Community-supported agriculture" (CSA) for the spring "quarter" (until end of May). Having prepaid at the rate of $20/week, we get to pick up a collection of locally grown vegetables (the stand is at the edge of the field where much of the produce grows) every Thursday. The selection depends on what they have and what is in season. Today it was:
- 1 lettuce (which I exchanged for a fennel)

- 1 bunch mustard greens
- 1 bunch Swiss chard
- 1lb mandarins
- 2 oranges
