This simple recipe, originally from Recipe Zaar, is an excellent side dish. Sauté green onion in butter until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook, uncovered, over low until mushrooms are tender (~30 min).
- 3 green onions with top, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1lb/0.5kg fresh mushroom, sliced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
