We had more oranges than we knew what to do with. Through an elaborate process of reading the tea leaves on a full moon, we determined that the thing to do was to bake them. For once, the Internet was not abound in recipes for baked oranges, so we just mixed some brown sugar (oh, a maybe a few tablespoons) into the orange chunks (yes, extracting the fleshy sections from their membranes is most tedious), put them into the oven and hoped for the best. The best turned out to taste both bitter and sweet. You may love it or you may not, but you'll probably like it on top of ice cream regardless.
